Our Soundman lyre for Baritone, Tenor Horn, Euphonium, Tuba, Trumpet, Cornet and Flugelhorn comes with a two-divided clamp, held in place by a sturdy spring. This ensures a strong, reliable hold for your music book / sheets. The lyre can easily be attached to the tuning slide of your instrument, enabling you to move freely while playing. Please note: this lyre's shaft has a square end (width / height: 0.158'', 4mm). Please make sure your instrument has a corresponding square lug. With most instruments, no modification of the lyre is necessary. However, in some cases bending the lyre might lead to a more convenient positioning of the lyre. Generally, it is possible to bend the lyre if needed. In order to bend the lyre, please carefully heat the handle before bending (e.g. with a bunsen burner). This lyre can be attached to many instruments without modification. However, it is possible to bend the lyre if needed. In order to bend the lyre, please heat the handle up before bending.
