Position the handle/escutcheon on the front face of the door. 2. Insert the female sleeve through the spindle hole from the back of the door. 3. From the front, insert the male bolt into the sleeve through the front handle/escutcheon. 4. Tighten until both faces are snug — do NOT over-torque (can deform handle or crack escutcheon). 5.
