Limited Swedish single malt finished in Masi Amarone wine casks, delivering soft, vinous sweetness with red grape and raisin notes, plus a fragrant herbal spice. A seasonal expression ideal for autumn and winter, with a refined, lingering finish. Mackmyra Frihet / Freedom Collection 03: Skoredtid Swedish Single Malt 46.1% ABV Nose: Spicy raisin fudge, dried cherry, black grape jelly, aromatic tobacco, fruity liquorice, fruits of the forest, vanilla extract and a whiff of an Italian winery. Palate: Lots of grapey and berry flavours (like a medley of grapes from a Valpolicella harvest, fruits of the forest and black cherries) raisin fudge, aromatic spice, sour cherry sweets, red liquorice, sweet tobacco, pear frangipane. Finish: More rum and raisin fudge, crunchy red and black berries, aromatic cherry jam, some peppery oak, red grape tannins and lasting sweet spices.
