Miniature bottle matured 7-9 years in Swedish oak with ex-Oloroso and ex-Bourbon casks; starts sweet and fruity with a dry, savoury, spicy finish. Mackmyra Svensk EK Swedish Single Malt 46.1% ABV Nose: Sappy oak, ginger, milky rice pudding, flinty and minerally, smoked almonds, elderflower and lime with some earthy notes. Palate: Toasted vanilla, ginger biscuits, herbal lozenges, aromatic spices, ripe orchard fruits, stewed apple and pear. Finish: Rice pudding, gingersnaps, vanilla, sweet, sappy oak, lime pie, pear drops and sugared almonds.
