Intriguingly aged 30 years, this Speyside single malt offers a complex, rich profile with sweet sherry influence and elegant fruit, oak and spice notes, finished with a subtle air of mystery. Macphail's Speyside Single Malt Scotch 30 year old 46% ABV Nose: Stewed fruit notes combined with apple, roasted nuts and subtle chocolate. Honey comb and dried apricot notes are present. Palate: Spicy to start, followed by blackberry, raspberry and apple. Milk chocolate, tangerine and oak also come to the fore. Finish: Medium finish with hints of menthol and lasting cocoa.
