What you get: 20 small round magnets, each 8mm across and 4mm thick: compact, chunky discs with a firm hold for their size. See the actual-size picture to check the fit before you buy. Strength: estimated pull 1.82kg straight off thick, flat mild steel with no gap. Full pull needs steel at least 1.2mm thick; thinner or painted steel, gaps and sideways loads all hold less, so test it in your own application. Specification: N42 neodymium (NdFeB), nickel-copper-nickel plated and made to ±0.05mm. Magnetised through the thickness, so each flat face is a pole. Max operating temperature for this size: 80°C (est.); above that, some strength is lost for good. Uses: cupboard and cabinet door catches; craft closures; 3D-printed parts; holding notes and photos on fridges and whiteboards. Easy to recess into a drilled hole and fix with epoxy or superglue. Safety: keep away from children, as swallowed magnets are a medical emergency. Keep at least 150mm from pacemakers and slide magnets apart rather than prising. The datasheet is in the product documents section.
