Neutralises odours first, then diffuses fragrance — Catalysis works in two stages: the heated stone first helps neutralise odours settled in the room, from cooking, stale smoke, pets or damp, and only then diffuses the fragrance from your refill. The burner governs the quality of that catalysis. Once it tires, the fragrance fades and combustion turns uneven, even with a brand-new bottle of fragrance oil. A simple, controlled ritual — Fill the lamp two thirds full, fit the wick and burner, and let the cotton soak for about twenty minutes.
