The Makita DC40RA Fast Li-ion Charger is designed for charging Makita XGT 40Vmax lithium‑ion batteries and can charge LXT batteries with the optional ADP10 adaptor. It features dual cooling fans—one for the battery and one for the charging circuit—to support consecutive fast charges while maintaining safe operating temperatures. The charger uses advanced electronics with digital communication between tool, battery, and charger to optimize charging based on battery status. A raised, enlarged charging indicator and a selectable full‑charge melody notification provide clear status and user feedback.
