The Makita DC40RA XGT® Two Port Charger is a dual-battery charger designed to handle two XGT Li‑ion batteries simultaneously, delivering charging performance comparable to charging a single battery. It supports charging LXT batteries when used with the ADP10 adaptor. The charger features two cooling fans—one for the battery and one for the charging circuit—facilitating consecutive fast charging. It provides a clear charging status indicator and an optional full-charge melody notification, and it uses digital communication between tool, battery, and charger to optimize charging based on battery status.
