Description
The Makita DTR181 LXT Rebar Tying Tool is designed for efficient, single-handed tying of underfloor heating cables and rebars, including thick rebars up to D22 x D25. It features a brushless motor for a maintenance-free, long-life operation and includes a battery protection system that shuts off power when the battery level is low. The tool offers flexible tying options with trigger lock function, torque adjustment, and six-stage adjustable tying strength, along with two actuation modes (single actuation and continuous actuation). It is supplied as a Bare Unit (no battery or charger) and supports easy reel replacement via an openable reel cover. Engineered with XPT Extreme Protection Technology, it provides improved dust and water resistance for challenging job-site conditions. An extension handle is available separately to allow operation in a standing position, and the tool is not compatible with G-Series batteries. It can tie up to a maximum of four rebars in a single operation and is designed for use with annealed, galvanised, or poly-coated tie wires of specified gauges.
