The Makita HS004G XGT 40Vmax Brushless Circular Saw with Automatic Torque Drive Technology, which automatically changes the cutting speed according to load condition for optimum operation. It produces a high power, similar to an AC tool. For quick, repetitive cuts there are positive stops at commonly used bevel angles. Fitted with a magnesium die-cast base plate for increased precision and durability. Its design also provides improved visibility of the blade tip. For added user safety there is an electric brake and overload warning lamp. There is also a handy LED job light, ideal for working in dark areas. Built-in Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS), connects to compatible dust extractors with Bluetooth. The dust extractor automatically runs while the switch is on.Guide rail compatible, without an adaptor. The XGT 40Vmax range is equipped with special electronics providing digital communication between tool, battery and charger. This allows the charger to provide the optimal charge to the battery depending on the status of the battery, whilst the tool can respond to the status of the battery by optimising performance to the battery level. This new standalone cordless system from Makita has been engineered for the toughest, most demanding tasks. This circular saw can be used with a guide rail without an adaptor thanks to it's newly designed base. This model will accept blades with a bore of both 20mm and 30mm because its back flange is reversible.
