Manfrotto 500X Fluid Video Head: Professional Smoothness and ControlElevate your video production with the Manfrotto 500X Fluid Video Head, the successor to the highly acclaimed 500A head. Whether you are using a mirrorless camera, a HDSLR, or a compact camcorder, this head provides the stability and fluid motion essential for high-quality results. At the heart of the 500X is Manfrotto´s advanced Fluid Drag System (FDS) on both the pan and tilt axes. This powerful technology ensures that every movement you make is exceptionally smooth, consistent, and free from judder. Execute flawless, sweeping pans and controlled, gentle tilts with a level of precision that immediately enhances the production value of your work. The fluid cartridges provide the perfect amount of resistance, allowing you to start and stop movements cleanly for a truly professional feel.To further enhance control and safety, the 500X features a pre-set counterbalance system (CBS) of 2.4 kg (5.3 lbs). This system expertly supports your camer´s weight, preventing it from tipping forward or backward unexpectedly during tilts. This not only protects your valuable equipment but also makes tilting motions feel more natural and effortless, allowing you to focus on your framing and creativity. With a maximum payload capacity of 5 kg (11 lbs), the 500X is robust enough to handle a wide range of camera and lens combinations.Speed and efficiency on set are critical, and the 500X is designed to optimize your workflow. It incorporates a side-lock mechanism for its sliding quick-release plate. This innovative design allows you to quickly click the camera into place from above, rather than having to align and slide it in from the back. This makes mounting and dismounting your camera faster, easier, and more secure than ever before.Versatility is a key strength of the Manfrotto 500X. Its flat base design makes it compatible with a vast array of support systems, including standard photo tripods, video tripods, sliders, jibs, and monopods. This adaptability ensures that the 500X can be your go-to head for virtually any shooting scenario. For even greater creative flexibility, the head is equipped with a 3/8 Easy Link connector featuring an anti-rotation function. This allows you to securely attach external accessories like monitors, microphones, or lights directly to the head, creating a compact and efficient filming rig.
