Marshalltown Finishing Trowels are designed for concrete and plaster applications, combining durable materials with precision design. The blade is forged from hardened and tempered carbon steel, providing strength and reliable performance. Aluminium alloy mountings are fully heat treated and machine-finished to ensure a smooth handle-to-post fit. The trowel features a Diamond Shank that fits into a bass wood handle to prevent turning, and it uses hardened steel rivets to securely attach the blade to the mounting. Not being welded eliminates embrittlement risk, while an extra large toe rivet adds strength. The handle is curved wood, sized at 350 x 120 mm (14 x 4 3/4 in).
