Geometric Cobra table lamp with swivel head The Cobra table lamp looks as if it has come straight out of the 1960s. It captivates with its minimalist, round shapes made of synthetic resin, which can be discreetly integrated into a wide variety of interior styles. The table lamp is particularly attractive thanks to its swivel head, which, when turned up, actually resembles the snake that gave it its name. The Cobra table lamp is powered by LED bulbs. It provides pleasant additional light that gently illuminates the surrounding area. But even when switched off, this Italian-designed table lamp is an attractive decorative object. Martinelli Luce's lights seem to be inspired by nature and geometric shapes, resulting in functional lighting systems. These are made from materials that reflect the true characteristics of the lights. Some of these unique lights are exhibited in the world's most important design museums. Martinelli Luce not only offers lights for private use, but also technical systems specially developed for use in offices, shops, hotels and other public areas. The focus here is on modern technologies that optimise energy consumption and offer new possibilities for light to unfold.

Lamp MastersThe designer and entrepreneur behind the Italian lighting brand Martinelli Luce created the iconic Cobra lamp back in 1968. The table lamp was inspired by the organic shapes of nature, and nature in general was a great source of inspiration for Elio Martinelli throughout his career. The name gives an obvious clue as to what specific part of nature inspired this particular lamp. The product consists of two parts: an upper and a lower section, both of which can be rotated 360 degrees. As a result, the light source can be placed on all sides of the base, illuminating the exact target area. The light is strictly downward-facing, making the lamp the perfect fit for desks, bookshelves, and windowsills alike. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the lamp in 2018, the company relaunched the product in a beautiful, red colour, complete with Elio Martinelli’s signature engraved. It is available in black, white, and red.
