The Serpente table lamp is as agile as a snake The Serpente table lamp is characterised by simple shapes. And yet it features an extremely creative design that is not only timeless but also functional. A round metal turntable forms the base, from which a filigree arm rises, which in turn ends in a large lampshade made of opal white methacrylate. The resulting shape is reminiscent of a dancing snake, which is how the Serpente table lamp got its name. It provides uniform, glare-free additional light, making Serpente the ideal companion in the living room. Serpente – not just a table lamp, but also a decorative eye-catcher! Martinelli Luce's lights seem to be inspired by nature and geometric shapes, resulting in functional lighting systems. These are made from materials that reflect the true characteristics of the lights. Some of these unique lights are exhibited in the world's most important design museums. Martinelli Luce not only offers lights for private use, but also technical systems specially developed for use in offices, shops, hotels and other public areas. The focus here is on modern technologies that optimise energy consumption and offer new possibilities for light to unfold.

Lamp MastersCreated in 1965 by the designer and man behind the world-famous lighting brand Martinelli Luce. Inspired by the harmonious shapes of nature, he designed the Serpente collection comprising a table lamp and floor lamp, based on the twisted stature of a snake. The direction of the light can be adjusted using the rotation feature of the top element. The top and bottom are joined using a rotatable joint, ensuring a flexible light that accommodates your lighting needs. The lamps are made in white and gold-coated metal, and the lampshades are made with methacrylate. A new and innovative moulding technique in 1965 when the lamp first saw the light of day In 2015, the classic lamp was launched in a gold version in honour of its 50th anniversary. Available in two sizes as table and floor lamps respectively, as well as two colours: white and gold.
