Description

Amazon ORIGIN: Masala tea, commonly known as "chai" in India, is a popular and flavourful beverage that originated in the Indian subcontinent but gained popularity worldwide. The term "chai" simply means tea whereas “masala” means “a blend of spices”. ABOUT: Our Masala Chai Tea is based on Premium Assam TGFOP black tea with added mix of India-inspired spices such as Cardamom, Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger and Peppers. This combination creates this robust, warm and aromatic tea. BENEFITS: Assam tea, like other black teas, contains antioxidants. Its moderate-to-high caffeine levels may provide an energy boost. The spices in the tea make it a warming and comforting beverage for cosy evenings. USES: Masala tea is deeply ingrained in Indian culture and it is usually served with milk and sugar – but tastes equally great just on its own! BREWING: Allow 1-2 teaspoons per cup. Pour the freshly boiled water onto the leaves. Steeping time: 3 to 5 minutes. The brewing time and water temperature can be adjusted based on personal preferences.
