Matrix Horizon X Pro X-Light Waggler Rod | The Ultimate in Finesse FishingDiscover the pinnacle of sensitivity and precision with the MATRIX FISHING Horizon X Pro X-Light Waggler rod, a masterfully engineered tool designed for the discerning angler who understands the art of finesse. While many associate waggler fishing with battling large carp, we know that true skill often lies in the delicate presentation required for smaller, more cautious species. As the experts at Matrix state, Waggler fishing is not all about catching big carp on the pellet waggler, sometimes a little finesse is required. We've developed two waggler rods that are a dream to use when targeting smaller fish with light lines and small hooks. This philosophy is the very soul of the Horizon X Pro X-Light series.Engineered specifically for targeting silver fish, these rods offer an unrivalled experience in sensitivity and control. The construction begins with a slim, exceptionally lightweight Japanese carbon rod blank, which provides a beautifully parabolic, fish-playing action. This forgiving yet responsive action is crucial for protecting light hook-holds and fine-diameter lines, ensuring you can land delicate fish without fear of breakages. The blank is crafted from ultra-high modulus carbon, a choice that results in an incredibly quick line pick-up and a crisp, responsive feel, allowing you to set the hook instantly and maintain perfect control from cast to catch. The series offers two distinct models to cover a range of scenarios. The 12ft two-piece version is the ideal companion for intimate venues like canals or for fishing shallow swims where precision and a swift setup are paramount. For anglers needing to achieve greater distances or requiring superior line management on flowing water, the 13ft three-piece model provides the extra length and power needed for longer waggler casts and improved control over your float.Every component on the Horizon X Pro X-Light Waggler is selected to enhance performance and reduce weight. The rod is fitted with premium MHLG / HLG RS Silicon Nitride guides, renowned for their ability to significantly reduce friction. This translates to smoother line flow, longer and more accurate casting, and minimized wear on your mainline. The ultra-lightweight carbon reel seat not only secures your reel flawlessly but is also ergonomically designed to be comfortable to hold for long periods, reducing fatigue during intensive sessions. This focus on comfort is complemented by the slim, minimal-style EVA handle, which offers a secure, modern grip in any weather condition, completing a package of unparalleled balance and feel.Elevate your silver fish and light waggler tactics with a rod that is truly a dream to use.
