Faceplates are not interchangeable across the range, so confirm which console you own before you order. Mcbazel built the panels for players who run long sessions, or who keep the console in a closed TV unit where the surrounding air barely moves. FOUR STEP SWAP, NO TOOLS: You lift the original panel at the slot position and push it out, then you line the new panel up with the slotted hole and push it in, and that is the whole job. No screws or tools are needed to fit these faceplates. Keep the white originals, because the swap runs the same way in reverse whenever you want the standard look back. MATTE ABS SHELL THAT KEEPS PORTS CLEAR: The panels are moulded in high quality ABS plastic with a matte black finish, and they take the dust, scratches and daily knocks that would otherwise land on the console shell. The cut outs leave the disc slot, the front ports and every button reachable, so nothing about the way you use the machine changes after the swap. TWO PANELS AT 1:1 SCALE: The set holds two replacement side panels, each one measuring 38.3 x 24.9 cm, or 15.0 x 9.8 in, and each is moulded to the 1:1 scale of the original shell for PlayStation 5, so the curve and the edges follow the body you already have. Mcbazel supplies the faceplates on their own, so the console, its stand and the disc drive stay as they are.
