UV rays aren't the only thing we need to protect our skin from; we're also exposed to a number of other daily factors throughout the year that can cause premature aging. Advanced Day Ultimate Protect contains sustainably sourced bilberry seed oil, a natural shield against blue light. Blue light from the sun can cause free radical damage or visible hyperpigmentation on the skin. Cranberry seed oil is able to absorb blue light before it reaches the skin, minimizing the damage from blue light exposure. Marrubium vulgare extract provides superior anti-pollution defense to limit damage caused by environmental pollutants, protecting skin cells and helping to strengthen the skin barrier. Carnosine is a multitasking dipeptide that protects against both glycation and infrared rays. Glycation is a natural aging process in which dietary sugars react with proteins, such as collagen, transforming them into advanced glycation end products (AGEs) that cannot be renewed, leading to the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
