Merrell Trail Glove 8 is a minimalist trail shoe designed for natural movement and close ground contact. With zero millimetre heel drop and a flexible construction, it aims to deliver a barefoot-like running sensation on trails and firm surfaces. The lightweight FloatPro midsole provides a thin layer of cushioning without sacrificing the feel of the ground, while Flexconnect technology supports mobility and stability across uneven terrain. A Vibram outsole offers reliable grip on dry and slightly damp surfaces, and the upper is lightweight and breathable, making the shoe suitable for running in warm conditions and during high-intensity efforts. The upper combines breathable mesh and TPU for a flexible yet protective fit, with a Burrito-style tongue to wrap the foot. The Merrell Barefoot 2 construction is intended to keep the foot in a natural position, complemented by 100% recycled laces and a breathable mesh lining. An insole features 30% recycled integrated EVA foam, paired with FloatPro foam in the midsole for lightweight comfort.
