The charger is microcontroller-monitored to diagnose battery status and switches to a compensation charge mode to help conserve battery capacity. It is compatible with a wide range of brands on a single battery pack system, supporting CAS brand packs and facilitating longer tool life and shorter total charging times. The unit is intended for simple installation by plugging into a mains outlet (220–240 V) and is suitable for use with various slide-on packs within the 12–36V range.”
