Microbe Lift® Phos Out 4 Pellets (2.7 kg.)

Removes phosphate and silicate – ARKA Phos-Out 4 Granules quickly remove phosphate, silicate, heavy metals such as copper and yellowing substances. This helps prevent algae in freshwater and marine aquariums. High binding capacity – Per kilogram, the granules remove approx. 49–70 g phosphate, 10–12 g silicate and 8–10 g heavy metals. Where phosphate is a problem, they promote coral and plant growth without affecting the pH. Clear dosing – Use 25 ml (15 g) in freshwater aquariums and 50 ml (30 g) in marine aquariums per 100 litres of water. Rinse the granules thoroughly under water before use to remove dust. Use in the filter – Place Phos-Out 4 in a fluidised bed filter or filter bag at a point with good water flow, for example in an external or internal filter. If phosphate stays high, increase the amount step by step. Alternate with Sili-Out 2 – Use Phos-Out 4 alternately with the aluminium-based ARKA Sili-Out 2 to avoid a build-up of iron or aluminium. Suitable for ornamental fish, corals, plants and invertebrates.
