Misloftlegs Loft Ladders

Loft Legs are designed to raise loft floors by 175mm, creating usable storage space while helping to prevent insulation compression and preserve thermal efficiency. Supplied as a pack of 12, they are manufactured in the UK from recycled materials and are lightweight yet strong. The legs are screwed directly to ceiling joists, with loft boards installed on top to form a raised platform above the insulation, enabling both storage and insulation effectiveness to be maintained.

Installation and use

Loft Legs are screwed directly to the ceiling joists. Loft boards (tongue and groove loft panels or 18mm chipboard sheets) are then screwed on top to create a raised platform above the insulation. This configuration allows for both full insulation and usable storage space, helping to prevent insulation squashing and maintaining thermal effectiveness. The product is intended for storage and domestic use, and should be installed in accordance with safety considerations, including confirming structural suitability with a professional if required.
