Mitologika : una visión contemporánea de los seres mágicos Euskadi

Astisendo Grupo Editorial Mitologika: Una Vision Contemporanea De Los Seres Magicos De Euskadi Comic. Mitologika offers a broad review of Basque mythology that describes the different magical beings that populated its lands. From the tiny galtzagorris to giants like the gentiles, from the mother goddess Amalur to the dangerous Gaueko... The texts by Aritza Bergara are accompanied by inspired illustration work by Raquel Alzate and Ricardo del Río, who create a modern iconography that allows this ancestral world to be brought closer to the most diverse audiences.Mitologika arises from the need to put images to the rich Basque mythology, and the most complicated thing when it came to representing the characters that make it up was the lack of data or the contradictory nature of these:In each town there is a different description of Olentzero or the lamias, and in some places the galtzagorris are elves with short pants, and in others they have the shape of an insect. We collected the information, which in some cases only referred to the character of the character, and we imagined it visually, says Raquel Alzate to the journalist Carlos C.Borra in the newspaper Deia. The Mitologika trilogy is completed with Mitologika. The world of witches (written by Aritza Bergara and with drawings by Raquel Alzate) and Mitologika. The world of giants (with texts by Aritza Bergara and illustrations by Ricardo del Río).They can all be found also published in Basque. There is no doubt about the richness of Basque mythology, and this book aims to bring the public closer to the image of all those beings we have only heard of. tradeinn Techinn
