This updated model represents the pinnacle of technical design, integrating new fabrics and refined features to deliver unparalleled performance in the harshest environments. Whether you´re an alpine climber, mountaineer, or backcountry skier, the Punk Balaclava is an essential layer for warmth, comfort, and weather defence. The intelligent construction utilizes zoned fabrics to maximize protection where you need it most. The core of the balaclava is built from DRYACTIV Stretch fleece, a warm and highly breathable material that wicks moisture away from your skin, keeping you dry and comfortable during high-exertion activities. This four-way stretch fabric ensures a snug, ergonomic fit that moves with you. In critical areas exposed to wind chill, a durable PERTEX® QUANTUM overlay provides a lightweight yet robust barrier, effectively blocking wind to prevent heat loss and protect your face from the bite of the cold.Designed with advanced performance in mind, the Punk Balaclava features several key enhancements. A new raised peak offers a small yet effective shield for your eyes against sun glare and spindrift, while the carefully shaped clear view visor slit ensures your peripheral vision is never compromised—a crucial safety feature when navigating technical terrain. Breathing comfort is significantly improved with an enhanced nose ventilation system and a dedicated mesh panel around the mouth. This design facilitates easier breathing, reduces the build-up of condensation from your breath, and helps prevent your goggles or sunglasses from fogging up.Comfort is paramount for long days in the mountains. The new Punk Balaclava retains its signature snug and ergonomic fit, allowing it to layer perfectly and without bulk under a climbing helmet or the hood of a mountain shell jacket. Throughout its construction, flatlocked seams are used to create a smooth, low-profile finish against the skin, eliminating chafing and pressure points for all-day comfort. For the dedicated adventurer who demands uncompromising performance, the Montane Punk Balaclava is the definitive choice for head and face protection in cold and challenging conditions.Features:* Small raised peak to help protect vision* Clear view visor slit for unrestricted peripheral vision* Enhanced nose ventilation for easier breathing and reduced condensation* Mesh panel around the mouth for increased breathability* Flatlocked seams for a comfortable, next-to-skin fitConstruction:* DRYACTIV Stretch fleece for warmth and moisture management* PERTEX® QUANTUM overlay for windproof protection in key areasTechnical Specifications:* Main: 94% Polyester, 6% Elastane * Overlay: 100% Nylon. tradeinn Snowinn
