General description This is a box ring immersion heater spanner designed for easy fitting and removal of immersion heaters on copper cylinders. Made from a single piece casting of malleable iron, it offers durability and strength. The spanner features a handle that can be struck to loosen very tight heaters and provides an overall clearance of 22mm (7/8) around the tool. The Monument 361T Box Ring Immersion Heater Spanner is made with an octagon at the base of the cylindrical section to enable really tight immersion heaters to be loosened by striking the handle. The one-piece casting enables full transmission of power to the spanner unlike loose tommy bar types.
