Monument Drain Testing Plugs are durable, flexible devices designed to seal drains and pipes during testing or maintenance. They come in a range of sizes, suitable for blocking small pipes such as copper for dry testing prior to commissioning. The plugs feature removable top caps and rubber rings to help ensure a secure seal. A wing nut depresses a rubber cone to expand and seal the pipe end, providing a watertight seal when properly seated and the nut tightened. They are designed to support dry testing procedures and are not intended for air testing when used alone.

Usage

Insert the plug into the pipe end to be tested or sealed. Turn the wing nut to depress the rubber cone, causing it to expand and seal the pipe end tightly. Use for dry testing of small pipes before system commissioning, ensuring the plug is properly seated and the wing nut tightened to achieve a water-tight seal. Cannot be used for air testing purposes by themselves.
