Blackcurrant cordial, coffee grinds and aged library books drift through a black treacle sweetness Palate: Malty and savoury, with old leather and coal-tar smoke, wax candles and sultana butter. Nut shells, dark mint and blackcurrant mingle with herbal and copper-toned wood, remarkably cohesive after five decades.
