Product for the care and protection of hydraulic tappets. Additive to be added to engine oil. For petrol and diesel engines with hydraulic tappets. MOTUL NOISE FREE START is designed for use in all types of petrol and diesel engines, with or without turbo, with or without catalytic converter, using any type of commercial fuel, and fitted with hydraulic tappets. Thanks to its high PERFORMANCE composition, MOTUL NOISE FREE STARTING smoothes friction and improves wear protection of the hydraulic tappet assembly, eliminating valve and camshaft rattling noises by means of lubrication. PERFORMANCE : MOTUL NOISE FREE STARTING, added to the engine oil, allows: Improving the anti-friction properties and protection against wear of the valve tappet assembly. Eliminate by lubrication the rattling noises in the hydraulic valve tappets. To ensure efficient, quiet and optimised operation of the camshaft, tappet and valve train. To reduce wear in the engine timing system. Maintain quiet operation of the engine timing system. Extend the life of the engine timing system. RECOMMENDATIONS : Add MOTUL NOISE FREE START to warm engine oil when necessary. The product acts immediately while the engine is running. One dose of 300 ml is sufficient to treat 5 litres of engine oil. For crankcases with larger capacities, add 60 ml of product for each additional litre of engine oil. Compatible with mineral and synthetic motor oils. Caution: Check the engine oil level before each application. Never exceed the recommended ratio. MOTUL NOISE-FREE START-UP does not change the physical characteristics of the engine oil. The beneficial effect of MOTUL NOISE-FREE START-UP remains after the oil has been changed.
