Specially designed to withstand the high temperatures of racing brake hydraulics (steel or carbon) and clutches. Exceeds DOT 3 and DOT 5.1 standards, except for viscosity at -40°C / -40°F. Provides better aerodynamic performance by reducing air intake for brake cooling in vehicles. Efficient in wet conditions: The very high wet boiling point of MOTUL RBF 660 FACTORY LINE (204 °C/399 °F) is higher than that of conventional non-silicone based DOT 5.1 (180 °C/356 °F mini) and DOT 4 (155 °C/311°F mini) brake fluids and therefore maintains braking efficiency under wet conditions.
