These Forgefix multi-purpose Pozi-compatible screws feature a countersunk, recessed head designed to sit flush with the surface for a smooth finish. They use a zinc yellow passivated finish that enhances corrosion resistance and durability. Suitable for a range of trades including joinery, electrical, plumbing, and general DIY, they are compatible with softwoods, hardwoods, chipboards, MDF, plastics, and similar substrates. The screws are single-threaded, with an extra deep insert bit recess to ensure a firmer, more positive drive, and a wax coating to aid fast insertion. Designed for use with Pozidriv screwdrivers or bits, these screws are intended to be driven straight into the substrate until flush, delivering strong holding power, especially in particle-board-like materials such as MDF.
