VERSATILE FORMULATING INGREDIENT: Bentonite Clay is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminium silicate widely used in cosmetic and personal care formulations as a thickener, emulsion stabiliser and suspending agent. IDEAL FOR OPAQUE PRODUCTS: Particularly suited to pigmented cosmetics including BB creams, liquid foundations and tinted moisturisers, helping improve texture, consistency and product stability. HIGHLY ABSORBENT CLAY: Derived from aged volcanic ash and rich in naturally occurring minerals including silica, iron and aluminium, with colours ranging from dark grey to greenish-grey. EASY TO USE: Hydrates quickly in water and helps provide structure to the water phase of creams and liquid products. Simply add while stirring and continue mixing until smooth and lump-free. PROFESSIONAL FORMULATION PERFORMANCE: Heat stable and suitable for use levels of 0.5–3%. Designed for opaque formulations and not suitable for creating clear products.
