[HISTORY] This military style double-pass nylon watch band was developed by the British Ministry of Defence in 1973. The requirement was to create a watch band that could handle water, be fitted easily to fixed spring bar watches without the need for tools and would keep the watch secure even if one spring bar broke. What they came up with would soon become a classic strap, used the world over. The great thing about pass-through straps is they are easy to swap around, extremely durable and suit any occasion. The double pass design means the watch stays attached to the wearer’s wrist even if a spring bar breaks, and it allows for bands to be swapped in and out in seconds, with no need for a spring bar tool. [DESIGN] This iconic strap builds on that classic design, keeping the ultra secure double-pass design, but swapping out the cheap ballistic fabric for premium seatbelt nylon. High-quality brushed stainless steel sewn-in keepers and a heavy-duty buckle finish the look. Available in our three most popular sizes – 18mm, 20mm, and 22mm – and in five classic colours – navy blue, khaki tan, stone grey, army green and utilitarian black.
