The Midsole in Fresh Foam X is built in two Layers with a soft top layer and a Firmer Bottom layer that Provides Stability on Uneven Terrain. Toe Protect Protects the toes from Stones and roots, and a Gusseted Tongue keeps Gravel and small Stones out of the shoe. The Outsole is a Vibram Megagrip with Traction Lug studs that Provide grip on both wet and dry Surfaces. Suitable for long trail runs, hikes, and Running in wet Weather.
