New Balance Fresh Foam X Hierro v9 running shoe combines a dual-density Fresh Foam X midsole for soft, stable cushioning with protective features for demanding trails. The upper includes a soft cushioning layer for comfort, while a firmer lower layer provides additional safety on uneven terrain. The midsole geometry supports reliable grip and controlled movement on changing surfaces, and about 3% of the midsole materials are bio-based to offer a more sustainable option. The toe area is protected by Toe Protect, and the shoe is built with a synthetic upper, textile lining and insole, and an abrasionproof rubber sole. Colorway is Angora/basil oil, size 6.5, with a plain pattern.
