A balancing act between lightness and gravity - Kizu Large table lamp in marble The table lamp Kizu Large is a lighting object that is composed of two sculptural elements. This results in a design that exudes a wonderful balance between gravity and lightness. While the curved shape has a rather calming effect, the gravity of the marble creates a certain tension. Through this combination, the lamp of the Norwegian designer Lars Tornøe radiates a perfect harmony. This is supported by the illuminant to be used, which radiates its light upwards and through the translucent acrylic shade into the surroundings.

The New Works Kizu table lamp is composed of two opposing geometric shapes - looking more like two sculptures balancing on each other - than an actual table lamp. At first glance, Kizu looks like it could topple over any second, but of course this is an illusion that makes it intriguing and teases the viewer.
