With this smart model, it is possible to get rice paper lamp light in places where it is not normally safe, as the shade is made of glass - for example, in the kitchen!

Modern opal glass ceiling light Lantern from New Works The Lantern ceiling light has contemporary yet classic features, providing soft lighting and a great eye-catcher in modern living spaces. Inspired by a traditional Chinese rice paper lantern, designers Anderssen & Voll crafted the lampshade from opal glass and gave it a ribbed structure that is indeed reminiscent of one of these lights. Lantern is a design object created in collaboration with designers Anderssen & Voll and renowned design studio New Works. Like New Works, the artists are inspired by sculptural forms and authentic materials.
