Tense LED wall light with Tyvek lampshade, 3,000 K With the Tense series, of which the Tense LED wall light forms part, designers Panter & Tourron – commissioned by the manufacturer New Works – explore the concept of material tension and bring airy, flowing forms to life. The dreamlike, cloud-like lampshade of the Tense wall light gently diffuses the light and creates a sculptural feel that suits a wide range of architectural settings. With a softness reminiscent of fabric and an appearance reminiscent of crumpled paper, the richly textured Tyvek diffuser introduces a tactile quality whilst also offering strength and Class 1 flame retardancy. When the light is switched on, the crumpled texture is emphasised in a delicate interplay of light and shadow. Tense comes with an integrated warm white LED light source and a discreet push-button switch on the wall mount.
