Aludra is a series of outdoor lights featuring a cylindrical head with a grooved surface reminiscent of antique column fluting. Inside the grooved housing is a satin-finished diffuser that diffuses light softly and evenly in all directions, reducing glare for practical orientation lighting. The range is designed to withstand coastal conditions with IP54 protection against dust and splashing, and is suitable for seaside environments, including wind, weather, sand, and salt. Materials include galvanised steel, copper, and brass, with the latter two developing a natural patina over time; these changes do not affect durability. The coastal and marine environment safe construction offers enhanced corrosion resistance, and the lights are compatible with standard E27 bulbs (bulbs not included). The double outdoor wall light variant features aluminium and polycarbonate diffusers for an upward and downward lighting effect, designed to be seawater resistant for coastal installation. The brand collaboration includes design input from Jacob Jensen Design for Nordlux.
