Nordlux Aludra Outdoor Ceiling Light - IP54 - Anthracite Aluminium

Aludra is a series of outdoor ceiling lights featuring a cylindrical head with a grooved surface reminiscent of antique column fluting. Inside, a satin-finished diffuser provides soft, glare-free illumination that shines evenly in all directions, making it suitable for practical orientation lighting outdoors. The lights are designed to withstand the elements with an IP rating of IP54. Material options include galvanised steel, which may show small irregularities in the zinc coating, and copper or brass, which develop a natural patina over time without affecting durability. The Aludra design emphasizes a round form with fine slats that allow light to spread downward and outward, ensuring functional, unobtrusive illumination. The collection includes versions made from anodised aluminium, and the light is designed to be compatible with 220-240V power supplies and dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb. The project combines robust construction with a refined aesthetic by Jacob Jensen Design, and Nordlux manufactures the line in Denmark.
