- 3-6 months (over 5kg): One 2.5ml dose, up to 3 times a day.
- 6-12 months: One 2.5ml dose, up to 3 or 4 times in 24 hours.
- 1-3 years: One 5ml dose, up to 3 times in 24 hours.
- 4-6 years: One 7.5ml dose (5ml + 2.5ml), up to 3 times in 24 hours.
- 7-9 years: One 10ml dose (5ml + 5ml), up to 3 times in 24 hours.
Doses should be spaced at least 6-8 hours apart, and it is important not to exceed the recommended daily dosage.
Precautions
Nurofen for Children is not suitable for:
- Children under 3 months old or weighing less than 5kg
- Those with (or a history of) stomach ulcers, perforation, or bleeding
