Octomore Single Bourbon Cask Single Malt Scotch 11 year old 59.4% ABV Nose: Towering peat smoke dominates the nose, anchored by iodine, sea-salt and a whisper of ash. Underneath, vanilla-caramel bourbon sweetness mingles with toasted oak and malt, while citrus zest brightens the core. Maritime brine and a faint coconut note Palate: Powerful coastal peat and medicinal iodine lead the palate, layered with vanilla and toffee from the bourbon cask. Creamy yet fiery at 59.4%, it reveals orange zest, charred oak and dark chocolate, tempered by sea salt and maritime brine. A long, Finish: Long maritime smoke lingers, carried by bourbon vanilla and caramel sweetness. Bold peat remains, softened by creamy oak, with sea salt and spice unfolding at the edges into a warming, persistent finish that recalls Islay’s coastal air.
