Built on Nordic Semiconductor's nRF52 series System-on-Chip (SoC),these trackers deliver robust, low-latency communication with exceptional power efficiency. Powered by a compact 130 mAh battery, Smol Slimes can last for days or even weeks-far surpassing traditional ESP (WiFi-based) SlimeVR trackers-making them perfect for extended use in VR, wearables, and IoT applications. Equipped with LSM6DSV Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) and a QMC6309 magnetometer, Smol Slimes leverage the open-source VQF fusion algorithm for on-device sensor fusion. Thanks to meticulous integration and tuning by the SlimeVR community, these trackers minimize drift and deliver highly accurate motion data tailored to specific use cases.
