Smooth and creamy juniper, mixed peels and evergreen forest with a long finish A single estate gin produced using juniper berries exclusively from Arezzo in Italy, which add their own unique character to the final product. The berries are milled using a using a burr grinder to avoid heating them before they a macerated in English wheat spririt for 24 hours. The result is cold-distilled under vacuum in a rotary evaporation still, a technique that avoids 'cooking' the botanical, thus retaining the wonderful, fresh flavours.The vial of additional botanicals is made with fresh lemon peel, camomile, bitter orange peel, cardamom, cubeb berries, angelica, cassia, liquorice and coriander, again utilising cold-distillation. Try it neat to compare the differences between this and the rest of the Origin Series of gins. Of course, it also makes for a wonderful Gin & Tonic.
