Osmo Country Colour in Dark Brown is a high-quality exterior wood finish that provides durable weather and UV resistance, with excellent water and dirt repellency. This microporous, breathable coating allows wood to breathe and helps prevent cracking, peeling or flaking, while enabling maintenance without sanding. The product is designed for exterior joinery and offers the appearance of paint with the benefits of an oil-based finish.

The finish is supplied in a 750ml container and covers about 26m² per litre with one coat; two coats are recommended for optimal protection. Drying time is typically 10–12 hours, and the wood should have a moisture content of 20% or less before application. The finish is designed to be used without thinning. For best results, apply thinly and evenly along the grain after stirring well. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides of the wood before installation and allow sufficient ventilation between coats. No sanding is required for future maintenance.

Usage

1. Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free before application.
2. Stir the product well before use and do not thin.
3. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides of the wood before installation.
4. Use an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller to apply the finish thinly and evenly along the wood grain.
5. Allow to dry for approximately 10–12 hours under good ventilation before applying a second coat.
