Osmo Country Colour in Dusk Grey is a high-quality exterior wood finish designed to protect and decorate wooden surfaces. It is microporous and breathable, offering weather and UV resistance with water and dirt repellency. The coating helps the wood breathe without cracking, peeling or flaking, and does not require sanding for future maintenance. The product is supplied in a 750ml can and is suitable for exterior joinery. It provides two coats for best performance, with a coverage of about 26m² per litre per coat and a typical drying time of 10–12 hours between coats. It has a maximum wood moisture content specification of 20%. The finish is meant to be applied thinly and evenly along the wood grain, using an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller, and it is designed to be used without thinning. The texture and appearance offer the benefits of oil with the look of paint, while the coating remains microporous to resist cracking or peeling.

This product acts as an opaque, natural oil alternative for exterior joinery, combining the advantages of oil with a paint-like finish. It is manufactured by Osmo and weighs around 1.98 lb.

Usage

1. Ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and frost-free.
2. Stir well before use and do not thin the product.
3. If possible, apply the first coat to all sides of the wood before installation.
4. For best results, use an Osmo Flat Brush or Osmo Microfibre Roller to apply the finish thinly and evenly along the wood grain.
5. Allow to dry for approximately 10–12 hours under good ventilation before applying a second coat.
