Osmo UV Protection Oil Tints is a lightly pigmented, satin, natural oil-based finish that creates a microporous coating to protect timber outdoors. It helps prevent greying by blocking UV light, while adding a tinted colour to enhance the wood’s appearance. The product is designed for vertical timber and joinery, delivering durable weather resistance without cracking, flaking, peeling or blistering. With two coats, it provides a lasting protective layer and can be applied in temperatures between +5°C and 35°C. Coverage is 18m² per litre per coat, and a second coat is recommended to achieve optimal protection. It is water and dirt resistant, moisture regulating, and helps reduce swelling and shrinkage, contributing to timber stability over time.
