Osmo UV Protection Oil Extra - Clear Matt - Exterior Wood - 750ml - 1420C

Osmo UV Protection Oil Extra is a clear, oil-based finish designed to protect exterior wood surfaces while preserving their natural appearance. It provides strong UV resistance to slow the greying process caused by weathering, and creates a durable, microporous layer that allows the wood to breathe. The product resists water and dirt, regulates moisture, and helps minimise swelling and shrinkage. Safe to use once dry, it remains suitable for humans, plants and animals, and is formulated with biocides to guard against algae, mildew and fungal growth.

This versatile exterior wood protector is suitable for vertical surfaces such as windows, doors, cladding, fencing and other joinery. Coverage is approximately 18 m² per litre per coat, and applying two coats is recommended for optimum protection. The finish will not crack, peel or blister and is easy to apply, maintain and renovate with future applications. It is solvent-based and has a high VOC content.

Usage

1. Ensure wood surface is clean, dry and frost free.
2. Sand surfaces, then apply the first coat.
3. Dry for 12 hours, then apply the second coat thinly.
4. Fresh wood containing natural wood ingredients needs to weather off first before applying the product.
