Osmo UV Protection Oil Extra provides a durable, satin-finish exterior oil for wooden surfaces, designed to slow greying and enhance the natural character of timber. Formulated from vegetable oils and waxes, it delivers a microporous, penetrating finish that resists cracking, peeling, or flaking. The product offers long-lasting protection against weathering, with biocides helpfully protecting against algae, mildew and fungal attack. It is suitable for vertical exterior joinery such as windows, doors, cladding and fencing, delivering good coverage and a natural oak-tinted appearance when applied in a single coat.

The oil helps regulate moisture, reduces swelling and is highly water and dirt-resistant, promoting a stable surface over time. It creates a barrier that maintains timber integrity while preserving the wood’s natural look. The finish is safe to use once dry, making it suitable for outdoor environments involving humans, plants and animals.

Usage

1. Prepare wood surface by making sure it’s clean, dry and frost free.
2. Sand surfaces, then apply the first coat.
3. Dry for 12 hours, and apply the second coat thinly.
4. Fresh wood containing natural wood ingredients need to weather o first before applying the product.
