OTC's GM Transmission Oil Cooler Line Disconnect Tool is specially designed for one handed operation in tight spaces Simply snap the tool over a 1/2 inch diameter line - with slots facing the fitting - then squeeze and insert the tool, rotating it until it engages the fitting - a 1/4 turn releases the line Designed specifically for use on GM 2WD and 4WD trucks and vans equipped with 4L60E (1993-2012) or 4L80E (1991-2013) transmissions Also works without modification on many other front or rear wheel drive GM vehicles with at least a 1-1/4 inch clearance between the radiator/transmission and the first bend in the line This time saving tool eliminates the need to struggle with screwdrivers or picks to release these unique GM lines
